Spring picnic menu – spinach pie

Warm days of spring days announce that the season of picnics may begin. A wonderful opportunity to surprise your family with a nice afternoon picnic in the park or in the nearby mountains. Balkon3 has a few suggestions for your picnic menu – they are easy to transport, easy to prepare and most importantly – really delicious.

SPINACH PIE

Ingredients:

– 5 eggs

– 2 cups yoghurt

– 2 cups oil

– ½ teaspoon salt

– 15 tablespoons flour

– ½ kg spinach

– 1 packet baking powder

– cheese (any kind)

– sesame

Preparation:

Firstly, mix the eggs in a large bowl then add the yoghurt and oil. Add the flour, baking powder until they blend well and finally add the chopped spinach and crumbled cheese. Mix the whole mixture with a spoon and then pour it in a pan coated with oil. Sprinkle some sesame on top and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at temperature of 220 degrees. Take it out of the oven, let it cool and cut into shapes of your choice. Spinach pie is best served cold.

SOUR CHERRY PIE

Ingredients:

– 5 eggs

– 5 tablespoons sugar

– 1 packet vanilla sugar

– 15 tablespoons flour

– 1 packet baking powder

– 1 cup milk

– 1 cup oil

– sour cherries – fresh or frozen

Preparation:

Mix the eggs in a large bowl, then add the sugar, vanilla sugar, flour and baking powder. Finally, add the milk and oil. Once the mixture is well blended pour it in a pan and put the sour cherries on top. Bake for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Let it cool and cut into shapes of your choice. You can also sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
