Traditional Dances & Choirs Festival
The “Olympia Culture Festival” which is undoubtedly the cultural event of the summer for the area of Elia, starts in a few days with the first part of the trilogy of culture, the traditional dances. The events will continue with the Theatre Festival and finally the New Writers Meeting.
The coordination of “Olympia Culture Festival” and the festival events are organized by the “Cultural Park”, an educational institution, the undoubted prestige and long experience in conducting similar events. With Olympia Culture Festival is an effort to unlock the value of cultural tourism and especially in Ancient Olympia, which is a cradle and a world reference for Culture and Sport.
The Traditional Dances & Choirs Festival, the first part of the trilogy of “Olympia Culture Festival”, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and will take place from 17/06 until 26 / 06 in the hotel “Epihotel Odysseas” Katakolo Elias. Also media sponsor is ERT and official supporter The Cultural Association of OTE Employees Elia. This is a dynamic international festival, with more than 30 traditional associations that will participate from all over Greece and Cyprus.
CULTURAL PARK
The CULTURAL PARK, known in educational and student community for experiential programs and educational seminars and conferences, operates in the areas of Attica Keratea and Lycabettus Hill and is the organizing institution of Traditional Dances & Choirs Festival. With the “Olympia Culture Festival” trilogy, the Cultural Park takes another ambitious project: to help promote and stimulate cultural tourism in a region with great potential, such as the region of Elia.
