Menada is the bastion of avant-garde in Skopje. In the 1980s and 1990s it was one of the central “underground” places in the city and in the last few years it is a regular night stop for many young people. It is located at the entrance of the Old Bazaar and it is a kind of a check-in place for all party people navigating through the narrow winding streets of the bazaar.
Concerts are often held here and other cultural events. Menada also has an antique shop where you can find unique items such as wine glasses, gold masks, coins and silver frames for icons.
