This is a story about a guitar “desperado” from Strumica. Although Stojan Stojanov is just 12 years old, he has climbed the throne of many prestigious European competitions with his guitar. With only a few years of musical education, talented Stojan started winning prizes and visiting master-classes of the guitar world’s biggest names. Firstly, he wins all the country competitions, and then the regional. He wins the “Guitar Art Festival” in Belgrade, on which have performed many world music names like Paco de Lucia, John Williams and Edin Karamazov.
He then becomes an absolute laureate on the “Nassius Guitar Fest” in Nis, and in July 2012 he manages to win the “Fiuggi Guitar Festival” in Fiuggi, Italy. There, he is presented like an absolute winner of all categories to 18 years of age, like the only competitor with the maximum number of points. Stojan in Fiuggi got an invitation for a festival in Madrid and he was separated like one of the most hopeful young musicians in Europe.
