KIDS- YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

That was the basic message of the  foreign embassies in our country in honour of the „International Children’s Day“. They didn’t forget the children and they gathered together with them in front of the memorial house of Mother Theresa, as a  part of the organized charity mission.

According to the  NGO „Welcome – Macedonia Welcome Centre“- Skopje  this kind of an event is held for the first time in Macedonia. – On this day we should all be in the minds of the millions of invisible children worldwide who live in poverty, on the streets, in institutions or as forced labor workers separated from their families. This day reminds the world how important and meaningful are the children- said the people from „Welcome“.

„These activities and projects are even more important nowadays when everybody is facing the economic crisis, its consequences and numerous personal problems. Unfortunately these are problems that effect the lives of the families and additionally weaken the position of the children-  said the honorary president of the „International Charity Bazaar“ and ambassador of Slovenia in Macedonia Alan Brian  Bergant. The collected money will be donated to the school for children with special needs „Idnina“.

The American, Turkish, Bulgarian, Croatian, German, Dutch, Chinese, Slovak, Slovenian, Serbian embassies and the EU Office in Macedonia took part in this Bazaar.

The photo objective of Balcony 3 was there and managed to capture the wonderful atmosphere at the charity.
