Kapan An

Five centuries ago it was an inn for merchants and traders but now it is a beerhouse and a nightclub featuring the best electronic music parties in the city. Kapan An is one of the most remarkable buildings in the Old Bazaar. It is actually a closed city inn built in the second half of the XV century. It was damaged through the centuries and in 1974 it was restored to its current looks. Since its restoration it has been used as a restaurant but there are some shops and offices there too.

In recent years it has turned into a place for house, trance, techno parties and the last late-night hangout for people who spent the evening somewhere else in the bazaar. At one of the exits of Kapan An you can visit “Tourist” one of the most visited kebab restaurants in Skopje.
