While I was drinking my morning coffee, I was thinking about mountains, forests, and when I was cooling myself off from the intense heat my phone rang. Huh, My friend invited me to play music at a party organized by a mountaineering association at 1500 meters above sea level! The Universe listens after all!
Wild, but at the same time gentle nature, the magical trees, flower meadows in the gorgeous Bistra mountain in the west of Macedonia, the pure air, and even the mosquitoes that were wisely boring, were a part of the fairytale
Characteristic for this event was the unusual organization, which was really respectable. Around 180 people attended to the party, there was a tent set up for each one of them, spring water that was so good that we couldn’t drink enough of it, a drink bar, tea for every hiker soaked from the rain that welcomed us, just like welcoming champagne.
Hand made toilets, were another unique surprise from the association, believe me, I can confirm their creativity.
As the night came upon us the party started, and everyone was in a good mood, some were tired from hiking to the surrounding mountain tops, some were in a good mood from the music, some from the drinks, and some from the people they met.
Another gift to us was the full moon which in that time of the year was closest to the earth and also the magical rainbow above the mountains created from the rain. I congratulate the mountaineering gassociation Macedon and the enormous amount of love and passion and dedication to this event, and just because of that there was the beautiful energy circling and putting smiles to everyone’s faces. See you next year!
