Cookies with baklava flavour

If you are one of those addicted to the taste of baklava then this recipe is something you should definitely try. Its ideal for you to impress your friends with your culinary skills, who at first glance will be surprised from the form and than from the taste that is really delicious.An excellent recipe  that is simple prepared, so you won’t need more than 30 minutes. You will get an excellent result that will get you a satisfactory smile from your loved ones. These cookies can be served at any occasion, whether as a dessert after a meal or in addition to coffee. Prepare the filling

Put some sugar in the sliced butter and than stir it well, until you get a compact structure. Then add the cinnamon and the grinded walnuts or hazelnuts.


Preparation of the dough

In a separate bowl, place the flour, the baking powder and the soda.

In another bowl beat some butter with sugar and one egg. Mix it well until the sugar is not melted good. Gradually add the yogurt and the flour in several phases and constantly stir it.

Preheat  the oven to 200 degrees. Put some butter on the moulds so the mixture will not get sticky during the baking process. Place a spoonful of the dough in each mould, then on spoon of filling and another tablespoon of dough. Bake the cookies for no more than 15 minutes. Once you get a nice golden color, remove them and leave them to cool down for a a few minutes. Then smear them with the already prepared hot sorbet made from honey and orange juice or lemon.

For 12 cookies you will need:

200 grams of flour
1teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
70 grams brown sugar
1 egg
40 grams butter
250 ml yogurt

To prepare the filling:

50 grams of grinded walnuts or hazelnuts
70 g brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
40 grams butter

For the sorbet:

5 full tablespoons of honey
1 ½ tablespoon orange juice or lemon.
