This summer the park „Küçükçiftlik“ will host the most scenic and entertaining festival. The first Latino Festival, which will be held on July 11 will present some legendary groups and artists: The Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club & Omara Portuondo, Bebe, Luis Ernesto Gomez & La Descarga.
This year the Queen of the Latin music Omara Portuondo celebrates the 60th anniversary of her musical career. As she said she plans to share all her experience and memories with her fans in one of her favorite cities, Istanbul. Omara Portuondo will be accompanied by the fantastic Buena Vista Social Club. This popular group is the biggest “culprit” for the popularity of the Latin music worldwide and it has won a lot of Grammy awards.
Known for the unique voice and the powerful performance, Latino star Bebe will be a special surprise for her fans in Turkey. It is her first visit of Istanbul. Her videos on YouTube have three million hits. The admirers of the Latin music will have a chance to have fun and dance to the rhythm of “Carnaval Latino”.
