Jordan Dukov is the winner of Best One Minute Film Award at Skopje Film Festival 2012 for his film “Carwash Cabaret”. Each year Skopje Film Festival runs a competition in one minute films which is seen as an opportunity for some young filmmakers to make their first film.
There are certain rules on how to make a one minute film, but this year organizers of the festival decided not to limit the creativity of their authors. Previous competitions were run with a pre-assigned subject whereas this year authors were free to choose the subject of their short film. There were 17 one minute films in competition this year. Festival audience and participants had a unique opportunity to see them on the big screen for the first time at Cinematheque of Macedonia. (J.D.)
