Apple Cream Pie


Autumn has arrived and the smell of apples is everywhere. Balkan3 recommends this recipe as a perfect dessert for this time of the year. A few days ago we had the opportunity to enjoy in the taste of a delicious and creamy apple pie. It is not too sweet so you can have as much as you like and it is best served with Turkish coffee – a perfect combination to serve after your Sunday lunch. Enjoy!


For the pastry:

-1 kg apples

-100 gr butter

-5 eggs

-5 tablespoons flour

-1 packet baking powder


For the cream:

-3 packets vanilla pudding

-1 L milk

-20 tablespoons sugar

-1/2 packet of jelly powder

-2 packets vanilla sugar

-500 ml sweet cream


Peel, core and cut apples into thin pieces. Slice the butter into very thin slices and coat the pan with it, put apple slices on top and bake for 15 minutes at 220˚.  Mix eggs with sugar, flour and baking powder and pour the mixture over the apples. Bake for another 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and let it cool. When the crust is cooled turn it upside-down and sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon.
